  • why jars?

Packaging is necessary but can create a lot of waste. Most bags that hold coffee beans are foil or plastic lined and not curbside recyclable in most areas. Single-use plastic bottles for concentrate can be recycled or sent to the landfill. Glass jars, on the other hand, are infinitely reusable, refillable, and recyclable. On top of that glass jars keep beans and concentrate much more fresh than single-use packaging!

Subscribers have the option to join our jar return program & earn points toward a free jar of beans or concentrate.

mornings just got so much easier (& seriously delicious)

Orders come with 28oz of cold brew concentrate in a returnable jar. Don’t have a favorite vessel to pour from at home? Turn your Summer Sun jar into your new favorite, super smooth pouring vessel by adding our pour spout (you’ll love it).

  • Cold Brew Concentrate is a strong, undiluted base made with a much higher coffee-to-water ratio.

Essentially concentrate must be mixed with water or milk before serving, offering versatility, meaning - with our concentrate - you can change up the type of beverage you make daily if you want!

Our cold brew concentrate is brewed for 24 hours and creates a seriously delicious concentrate that can be used to make cold brew or iced lattes at home.

  • Glad you asked! 🌞

Cold Brew Concentrate is a strong, undiluted base made with a much higher coffee-to-water ratio.

Standard Cold Brew is already diluted and ready to drink. You can make cold brew by mixing equal parts cold brew concentrate and water. It is simply a lighter-bodied, ready-to-drink version of the same slow-steeped coffee.

Essentially concentrate must be mixed with water or milk before serving (or not, no judgement 😏), offering versatility.

That means - with our concentrate - you can:

    • change up the type of beverage you make daily if you want!

    • dilute to your preference

    • lock in your favorite recipe and repeat time after time

  • Just mix 1:1 & you’re done 🌞

Coffee : milk = creamy iced latte

Coffee : water = seriously delicious cold brew

Mix each morning or pre-batch your favorite drink for a true grab and go coffee in the morning.

Mornings just got sooo much easier (& seriously delicious).

  • Each 28oz jar can make seven 8oz drinks when mixing 1:1 (example: 4oz concentrate + 4oz milk = 8oz latte).

    Consider:

    • how many people will be enjoying this coffee

    • your preferred drink size

    • how many drinks per day you will be enjoying

    • are you wanting to make every morning easier & seriously delicious (choose weekly) or are you just wanting a little treat here & there (choose biweekly or monthly)

Need it more than 1x per week? Just ask! We’re happy to set something up for ya 😊

    Words from our roaster:

“Multicoop is an association headquartered in the department of Tolima, specifically the municipality of Bilbao, which brings together farmers from the areas of Planadas, Chaparral, and Rioblanco. Currently, the association has 1,100 member-producers. Multicoop has implemented the "umbrella" scheme, which involves combining technical and administrative efforts with other associations. This approach has allowed smaller groups to market their coffee in a transparent and efficient manner. As part of this model, several women's associations have emerged, finding new ways to strengthen both their knowledge of coffee cultivation and the economy of their households. These associations have formed alliances with financial institutions and universities, creating their own brand and establishing a committee dedicated to channeling resources to projects in the producing areas.

The coffee we sourced through Covoya and Muticoop is a regenerative Organic Alliance certified coffee. Regenerative organic agriculture is a collection of practices that focus on regenerating soil health and the full farm ecosystem. In practice, regenerative organic agriculture can look like cover cropping, crop rotation, low- to no-till, compost, and zero use of persistent chemical pesticides and fertilizers. In our mission to cultivate sustainability we are focused to incorporate more coffees into our menu that have a positive effect on the soiland planet creating a sustainable future for coffee farming.”
